Glacier Park, Hai Luo Gou

~ Photograph taken at Glacier Park, Hai Luo Gou ~

Hai Luo Gou Glacier, Sichuan being the biggest glacier park in China was formed 16 million years ago.
Due to the cancellation of my JiuZaiGou trip, I went to Hai Luo Gou instead.
A place that I have never heard before.
Standing in front of the Glacier Park, all I could do was marveled at the natural phenomenon.

I could still remember that coming from a tropical country, we were all doubting the existing of a glacier, a frozen river, in such a low altitude. I was all awed and dazzled by the magnificent glacier. For a person like me who doesn't fancy mountains, the view of Hai Luo Gou Glacier Park was the best attraction in my trip to Hai Luo Gou, a frozen river literally.

Would I be going back there any time soon? I don't think so, not while I have to endure the hours of winding roads up the mountain.
Nevertheless, I did not regret visiting this place. Because to me, there is a story in every journey.
